Bring it

I bought my cap and gown today. It made me think: "wow, is my life ending or just beginning?" Either way it's a scary thought to be graduating, but also satisfying at the same time. Yes, I am sick of being a student. Yes, I want to get out to the real world and do something that I value and enjoy.

The real world, as I have heard it put many times before, is not that different than the world I live in now. Many say that the real world is ruthless and unforgiving. It's a place of structure and intimidation. Nay I say to them. The real world is just like my current world except a bit more serious. I don't think that my life could be more structured than it already is. I mean, damn, I could tell you what my I'll be doing three weeks from Wednesday. Maybe not in detail, but the basic structure is easy to recite: I'll work at the Y from 8 - 11:30. Digital photography class from 12 - 2 and internship from 2 - 4. If the weather is nice I'll play some basketball with my roommate and then eat dinner with my girlfriend and do some homework afterwards. I'll get to be around midnight and then wake up and do it all over again. I challenge you, real world, to structure me anymore than I already am ! Bring it on !
